"Shopping centers must become a center of citizen interaction whereby the benefits not only focus on the economy," expressed Anies, when attending the national working meeting (Rakernas) of Indonesian Shopping Center Management Association (APPBI) at Gandaria City Mall, South Jakarta, Thursday (4/12).
He also wants the mall can develop the social interaction of citizens. It is deemed to be a third space that can be used as an interaction space.
Public Service Mall Visited By 57 Institutions"The first room is the house, the second is the workspace or school. And third is open space, like park, RPTRA, and also mall," he stated.
He also hoped 83 malls could be an eco-friendly place, either it is physical building or activity in it.
"Hopefully these malls can cooperate with us," he said.
